Majorca is a beautiful Spanish island and while it does quieten down during autumn, there’s still some energy about in the main towns. The weather stays nice all year round, yet the hottest months are obviously July and August.
You’re given more space on the beach and there won’t be too many children running around, unless of course you go during the October school holidays. The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range is definitely worth a visit but it is a bit of a climb if you want make it to the top, so make sure you’re fit enough for the challenge.
Flights do tend to be rather cheap during autumn, and they drop as you get further into Winter. If you’re looking for a peaceful sunny holiday during autumn then Majorca is a fine option, and you don’t have to spend a great deal to get excellent accommodation.
