Things to do in the area
If golf isn’t your first choice of activity, or if you have a family to entertain on your holiday, there is plenty to do in the area around Balaia. Here are some of the things you might find yourself doing and seeing:
- Going to the beach. There are two beaches within an easy walking distance of the village.
- Visiting Albufeira. There is plenty to see here, as well as good options for shopping, eating and drinking.
- Going to the market at Loule. This small, pretty town is well worth a stroll and the buzzing market is well known in the area.
